Dont know about you lot but im really ticked off sorting **** out went to a job today where the sockets had been installed with the bottom touching the floor so any plugs inserted were under stress to the cable 9 had plugs half in as couldnt even get plug right in ! on going into warehouse found boiler & ring feeds looped around the hot water pipes ! this was all in first 15mins inspection! who are these people ? you all hear about them, see their work, put right their **** but never walk in whilst their half way through ! bless their cotton socks :rolleyes:

Could do with a large IEE sponsored campaing aimed at consumers. Get your tradesmen to "put their money where their mouth is" and certify their work, esp those who are not registered with a body. That might weed out a few cowboys as many do not want to leave a paper trail back to their botched work!!!
