having perused these posts. there seems to be a lot of confusiom about installing " bathroom fans" extractor fans i presume
why?
how can it be it so complicated to install a blo--y bathroom fan?
also why diss plumbers?
i daresay i become the poriah now
 
I actually quite like talking about extractor fans and can genuinely say theres quite a bit to it if you want to look at every aspect:

1. Length of ducting run and impact on type of fan
2. Type of ducting.
3. How ducting is layed - angles/droops/leginairres disease etc etc
4. Isolation switch (DP TP etc etc)
5. Type of fan - (In line, timer, humidistat etc etc)
6. size of room (impacts on fan size - working out flow rates etc etc)
7. Position of fan in relation to the shower/bath/window/door/vent
8. IP rating, 12V, 230V.....

And they'll be many other points to consider, i've just reeled off a few that sprang to mind. In fact I find them quite interesting!
