Ballast confusion....

Morning I have Ten ballasts to install and the customer picked these up for me , but I'm not sure about these . surely there should be 3 in (L,N,E) and 4 out (to the tube)?? there only appears to be four connections in total. Prob simple for yourselves

there are 2 connections Mains in then out to tube via starter the earth is the case of ballast watch out for emergency supplies

Thanks for the reply , was going to earth the casing . but the point is i need a seperate starter ? can i get this in one unit as i was planning to install the ballast behind this shade ( see pics)and am not sure how i would fix the starter .I am fixing to an aluminium wall

If you are not familiar with how a fluorescent fitting is wired internally the this may be a better option for your application

Cheers thats great I will try and find a cheaper one though, as long as it fits behind the shade happy days cheers for your help
