We are getting crazy loadings from our SE for the ballast of our A frame mounting systems. Thats the down side of living near the coast i guess.

What do you use? any recommendations for something that looks good for the customer?
 
I presume you're talking about the ballast being good looking and not the system? The best ballast I have used which was on schletter a-frames on a 3 story flat roof overlooked by a roof garden was fake (marshalls stone i think) stone lintels. Nice yellow yorkshire stone looking things, cut square nice and neat. Might not stay looking that way but certainly better looking than concrete. Not to expensive either.
