I have to install a power shower in a small bathroom. It has an old fashioned bar heater on the wall. I am not sure what is the position of this regarding electrical safety. Any comments!

Cheers:eek:

My comment would be " tell the customer not to touch the heater whilst having a shower"

Seriously though, I am not sure what the regs on this are, but I would tell the customer its got to go, just to be on the safe side.
However someone may be along who knows about this and can give you a definite answer.

double check the height again sounds like they use it as a hair dryer, if its only a shower cubicle in this room then if the heater is further than 0.6m from the cubicle walls then its out off zone but im a little cautious of its height just seems a tad low to me, i assume you pull a string to switch it on too, also is their ventilation for the steam created if not id remove it.

Rougly I think it is about the height of the door.

Is it allowed in the bathroom within the new regulations. Does it need to be removed or some comment made on the certificate.
