Bathroom Downlights?

I normally like to fit fire rated IP65 downlights but in the property where I am doing 3 bathrooms the ceilings are 2.8mtrs high, the regs state that over 2.25mtrs this is outside the zones therefore I will not need to fit IP65 this correct? Thanks

that is correct, IP 65 not required if the ceiling is over 2.25 (i think that is the right hight, it is something close to that.) 2.8 is certainly outside of the zone

Even though they are outside the zones, you should still make sure they are suitable for their environment.

it depends, although they may be outside the normal zones they may still be subjected to water jets such as a shower!
