bathroom extractor fan with timer.

Installing a bathroom extractor fan with a timer. I was going to run some three core with a earth from the light fixture to a 3 pole switch then to the extractor fan.
Thing is there is no earth on the extractor fan, so do i leave it un earthed?

The cable still needs to be earthed.Connect earth at light fitting end and sleeve and put in a connector block at fan end
