We're in the middle of plastering the hall after the first fix and having seconds thoughts about the position of the bathroom light switch outside.

The electrician said its not too late to have a pull switch fitted inside the bathroom as it's still bare brick and no ceiling for wires to go in. That would be better but would spoil the look as you walk in.

Could we have a Light Switch sensor for inside the bathroom. If a pull switch is possible then one or both of these surely should OK?

Or just a more simple sensor placed in the ceiling.

Either one will operate or activate a couple of downlighs, four probably, or eight tiny ones if the ceiling sensor is the one option in three rows of three, sensor in the middle.

The white sensor looks ok as long as you fix it to the ceilling and its over 2.25m from the floor ( out side the zones). But it only stays on for max 7 min. If your in the bath or you like to read the paper whilst doing your business then its going to keep turning off till you move again. That could pee you off after a while.:D

Hope this helps.

The switch for ÂŁ80 would be my first choice, make a nice feature and everything else is chrome. Zone 2, it would be as you enter the bathroom away from everything so that's fine.

It says in the manual on that first link that is has to be wired into the mains and can't replace an existing rocker switcher. If the electrician he can install the pull switch it should be the alright?

I cant find anywhere else that sells something similar to give me more information.

It's futuristic! :p

It doesn't matter now the electrician is coming out and the outside switch has gone so I'll consult it with him tomorrow or the next day.

Where else can you buy those types of switches at a lower price? Very few prices sell them. That's just basic stuff too.

Some of the things you see one the gadget show last week, makes you wonder. Where the skilled labour and devices come from.
