Just upgrading our bathroom, Is it ok to use the existing pendant light fitttings in zone 2 of the bathroom or have the regulations changed ?

Is a batten fitting classed as enclosed ?

No it's not but if your ceiling is hhigher than 2.25 m it's outside the zones ipx4 doesn't apply
