Hi guys
I am off to survey the installation of a bathroom space heater at this point I dont know if it will be one of those downflow wall mounted or a oil filled either way can someone point me in the right directions with regards to protection , control , Earthing and isolation.

The property is a 1 bed first floor flat

The property is a 1 bed first floor flat

30mA RCD protection. Needs to be in notified to LABC/through competent persons scheme if new install. Installed inside the zones should be rated IP44 (IP 65 if there are spray jets) outisde zone 2 (0.6m from the edge of zone 1 vertically or 2.25m horizontally no IP rating required. If plugged into socket should be 3m away from edge of Zone 2. (hopefully not on socket!) hopefully on SFCU with 13a fuse protecting and outside of the zones. Don't know what it's going to be connected to circuit wise. Just make sure that your bonding is up to scratch too. Anything I've missed I'm sure one of the bright sparks (hahahahaha ) will add on. :)
