Battery backup for 18W LED

Hi Guys

Im fitting some 18W LED light fittings at the moment and need to convert a few of them into maintained fittings.

Can't find a conversation kit anywhere that isnt for flourescent...

HELP.

You need to contact the manufactures for a conversion kit, this will maintain the ip rating and ce status

I am awaiting a response, just thought that there may be a generic battery back up that could be used, like I have used for fluorescent lights in the past.

Suggest waiting for manufactures...generic kits can cause you no end of trouble, by loosing manufactures cover. An electrical contractor working on a school in Kent, retro fitted em kits into 60 5 ft fittings. over the space of 2 weeks, 3 fittings caught fire, leaking hot choke fluid onto reception desk and music room. Because the units had been modify, the contractor was left liable for all damages.
