Beko 562 grill element glass pieces

So I was baking some bread in the beko 562 oven when suddenly one shard of glass fell onto the plate. Then another. Any idea what these are for and should I be concerned? The glass came from the grill element hole, on the backend of the oven ceiling.

The only place you would expect glass in an oven is the window in the door, and the cover over the interior light. Do any of those parts look like they have bits missing? If so they should be replaced.

I would have guessed they were part of the glass covering the light but this is listed as a light for a 562



It's not part of a casserole dish or something of your own that's exploded in the past is it?

Those glass parts look a bit flat and straight to be from that bulb cover.

The light bulb cover is fine. Upon further inspection after the oven cooled down I took a picture. There seems to be more broken glass as you can see. What is the purpose of it?

I can only assume something has broken on top of the cooker, then the shards have fallen down the oven vent slots at the top rear of the cooker. I don't think the glass is part of the cooker.
