bending springs

Just bought the 20mm heavy gauge spring today. At C.E.F he asked which i wanted does it make much difference on the one you get be it heavy or light gauge? or best to have both for the different gauges of conduit.

Just depends on which pipe you use. Heavy gauge pipe is thicker than standard so a standard gauge spring wont fit inside.

Also a heavy gauge spring is no good for standard as it's too thin and you'll get kinks and spring marks when you bend it.
