Hey all,
Looking into doing a BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering after I finish my level 3 studying, but noticing vast differences in course materials between what you will get from distance learning and what I'd get doing it at a university (not an option for me).
For example: at Manchester University Year 3 course units | The University of Manchester | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering - http://www.eee.manchester.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/choosing-course/courses/eee/electrical-electronicbeng3years/year-3-course-units/
whereas distance learning from Bradford University Study Electrical and Electronic Engineering BEng (Hons) University of Bradford the UK id:54934514 - http://www.hotcoursesabroad.com/study/course/uk/electrical-and-electronic-engineering-beng-hons/54934514/program.html?smode=3
The distance learning modules look, frankly, ----. I want something that's going to expand on circuit theories beyond level 3 and go into advanced electromagnetic studies, that sort of thing.
It just seems a little baffling to me that the courses can be so vastly different in material but end up with the same qualification...
I'm hoping someone can offer some advice on this
