Just wondering what the best make of screwdrivers you can buy? And what are the best side cutters? Thanks

I like barcho screwdrivers when working on three phase etc and when working in domestic I prefer a wera screwdrivers.mainly down to how they feel in the indivuals hand.

For insulated screwdrivers i'd have to say stanley for value of money and their feel, the heads get loose overtime though. And side cutters these bad boys, nice small and compact, however sometimes their size gets in the way and I have to use my shears. [ElectriciansForums.net] Best make of screwdrivers?
Eclipse by the way (to save head tilting)

Irazola are now Bahco.
I quite like the new Irazola/Bahco drivers, although I have used and still own some CK drivers.
I also have some Insulating Snap On drivers for when working live.
Never liked the look of the Wera drivers.

I love tools!!! Wera, 1000v interchangeable heads and knipex for cutters and shears. Bahco rachet screwdriver for general use, stanley for driver that can free hold the screw, dumpy .. Bahco rachet again. Love it!!

bacho and ck is in my tool bag..... and loads of all different type 4mm ones, as for cable sheers knipex.. and ck multi cutters for cutting 3.5mm accesorie screws ... take your pick

Wera screwdrivers bahco pliers and snips snap on ratchet driver standard and dumpy

One of my colleagues not long started with us has stanley fatmax 100v drivers which don't feel too bad and nws pliers and snips which feel ok pretty sharp too

IMO there is no contest in the Screwdriver category, I'm still using a set of Kew Technik's everyday, that I originally purchased in 1982! They are by far the most durable screwdrivers I know of, that is unless any other old-hand's kit can better that record of service.
I also have a pair of Lindsrom electricians side cutters from the same era that are still performing as good as new, the only drawback is they are insulated but not officially VDE rated. Although when they were tested by me, to the full VDE specification, they passed easily.
