Best method for smokies

Ok let's try to do this without getting any "Get of you DIYer your not getting any answers from us!" I am not a DIYer.

So I was wondering how people normally connect there smoke alarms,
Do you connect the twin and earths in a junction box.
Or do you use a chock box or do you just get one of those adapter plate that gives you space to put a connector block in.
And which is the best method?

Before you start trying to tell me that this is supposed to be a help forum and I'm not helping, I generally wire smoke detectors in the usual way, and that's that.

.....................or, maybe i don't wire them and just fix them up so they look like they're wired to save cash + wire to gubby with on the side muahahaha

I don't understand... Wiring smoke detectors using 2x twin instead of 3 core because you 'ran out' sounds like a DIYers solution.

its simplicy just feed the first tec with twe then any further/onward ones with 3core
the earths dont actually do anything but must be terminated into each tec
