Best place to buy a new contactor

Hi,

Just got to replace an old MEM Autoline 3 with a resistor pack inside, its about 50 odd years old,

Just wondered if anyone knew of anywhere that's good on prices for these?

Basically just want a new one, like for like, 50A 4 Pole.

That's not very helpful... I've tried my local Edmunsons and they don't do them. I was only after a pointed as to who might be a good one to try.

Ive tried a few places, not tried RS yet, unless there's anything else I could use instead.

Edmunson's should get you one next day adleast no doubt I'm really surprised they dont keep them . My local eddies keeps loads , you must have been talking to the shop doughnut me thinks

Last one with a rectifier I got from Eyre & Elliston at a cheaper price than TLC.

Surely it costs what it costs! Saves you running around trying to get it cheaper, just bill it to the customer

If it is 50 years old like you say i don't think anyone will be able to get one as they will not be made anymore.

If it is just a 4 pole 240V coil AC1 50A contactor then you could try a different make.
You could have a delightful Chint one for £45!
