Hello,
If after a periodic inspection, the consumer unit ends up getting changed and removes all the code 1 & 2s from the previously unsatisfactory outcome, would you ammend the PIR paper work, produce another certificate but with a satisfactory outcome or just produce an electrical installation certificate for the change of board?
It would be really helpful to nail this one.

Thanks for your time.

Do an installation certificate, stating that the CU has been changed and with regards to PIR number xxxxxxxxx that code 1 + 2 recommendations have been rectified, then leave with PIR.

As Pevvers says....you would have to issue an EIC for the work you have done anyway so in the extent box you can link back to the original PIR staing item numbers resolved etc.

That's great. Another quick one. If on a periodic inspection the RCD on an old 16th edition board wouldn't reset, what code number would be most suitable?
