Hello everyone, I am lookin at buying a multi function tester.

What is the best starter test that is not too expensive

Thanks in advance

Hi

when i started off i bought a cheap starter meter and cheap tools, which i thought was the bees knees but they soon became not suitable for my job. over the years i have learnt that buying tools save up and buy the best.
i have now got a megger 1552 which i have had for a good few years now.

I would have a good long look at all the different ones available on the market, take into account what you will be doing with it in a few years time, what you buy now may not be suitable for you later on, treat it as long term investment.

good luck

1552 every time. it's no trip loop, auto RCD and ramp RCD. or for bluetooth capability, 1553. and soooooooooooooooo easy to use
