Hi Chaps,

Been to look at a job this morning - converting a maisonette into 2 flats with a communal hall/landing/stairs - over 3 floors.

Just looking into what the current requirements would be for fire alarm and emergency lighting?

My first thought being it would need to be specified by the local fire officer ?

Any thoughts please?

good starting point would be the local council and fire officer. let them tell you what they want.

Prob need a window opener system incorporated into smokes.A few em lights as you say with an installation certificate for them
