hi
I was testing in one of the bungalow (fixed building) in caravan park. Current earthing system is TNS as I can see sheath has been used as earth and connected to the MET. When I did Ze and got over 4 ohms. Then I took the cover of supply head of Neutral side and tested like put blue and green lead in Neutral terminal and red lead in live terminal of supply head and got 0.34 ohm Ze. so I think there is TNCS is available and I just wonder to get reliable earth for the installation can I change from TNS to TNCS my self by main earth together with neutral terminal of supply head. please I would like to get advice and more information about it. cheers

You cant do it yourself....there are certain criteria that have to met...you need to contact DNO!!! they will tell you if it can be converted and only they will be able to do it.

you can't be sure it's TNC-S and you should not be making a TNC-S earthing anyway. call DNO as they are responsible to ensure that TN-S is below 0.8 ohms.

And with a duff one, it just sits there, not knowing which way to turn, but drawing considerably more than its normal run current.
