Black brick dust

Does anyone have a magic trick for getting black brick dust out of a cream carpet...... Hope so :banghead:

Rug Doctor from Morrisons. Then use it on your own place, cheers the missus up if nothing else.

If it was black it could be sludge out of a radiator. So it was the Plumber wot done it in the lounge wiv a wrench.

Try a small bit of bleach on a section might work just a trial patch to start it worked on a coffee stain years ago on a cream carpet I had

I've been there,oops! Luckily i have a karcher carpet cleaner and it got it straight out, all before the lovely lady got home from work, i think its the same sort of machine as a rug doctor so you'll have no problem

Ive used the Vanish power shot foam before and it was brilliant. 2 days after our cream carpet was laid my rottweiler got hold of one of liquid shoe polish sticks while we were out and made a right mess! However the vanish foam got it all out after 2 applications, i was amazed

my current job is an engineer for a Karcher premier dealer. I personally have the same machine, also a vacuum. excellent things. vacuum is better than a dyson (which I also have) and the Puzzi is the best carper cleaner IMO

hoovers out unless you tread it in......there's a gadget that connects to your drill with a tiny vac unit that takes away brick dust...is aimed at drilling tiles.....also has anybody tried Dust Bubble thingies ?.....

I find a good quality dust sheet works best.

Cover the carpet with it BEFORE you go hacking into the brickwork !!
