He invaded the falkland Islands after ignoring warnings that an invasion was going to happen because his popularity was almost non existent, knowing full well that beating the Argentinians up would give him an image of untold strength and create a wave of "patriotism" that he'd ride to victory in the next general election.

Actually the cause of most of the worlds problems is apparently a bloke called Stan,look at a lot of the trouble spots and you'll find that Stan is behind it,e.g AfghaniSTAN,khazakSTAN,PakiSTAN,and the rest,Plus by the way things are going over here,recently it was announced that 25% of our population is muslim maybe we will be renamed muslimstan in the near future.incidentally I think Paki stan is also the name of the guy who runs the corner shop.lol:biggrin:
