Blanks in floor tiles

When working in shops you sometimes see blanking plates in the tiled floor where previous installations have been, does anyone know what these are actually called? Got to get some and I can't find them when typing in floor tile blanking plates??

Are you sure they're not just the lids of the boxes? Most have a facility to accept the kind of flooring used.
