Evening all
Few things to clear up in my head- sorry for being very wordy....
1. Switch fused spur in a bathroom to feed a boiler in a bathroom (1.5m away from edge of the bath) - Seems to comply with the 17th as long as it is RCD protected also? Would this have met the 16th when it was origionally done assuming everything was bonded up? Please dont shoot me...... Switching for maintanance rather that functional. If it was to be moved to under a panel which required use of a tool to gain access where does the facility for emerggency switching come in?
2. Inside a boiler there was a plastic block with 5 female spades which plugged direct into the back of a timeclock. Is it OK but frowned upon to connect a wireless stat into this using male spades (its only the same as the spades on the rear of the timeclock) ?
Cheers
