have another problem for you guys. i am looking for a wiring diagram for a boiler which gas a pipe stat fitted to it so the pump continues to pump away heat that is stored in the boiler after the time clock is off. this boiler also has a frost stat fitted. i wired one off them a few months ago but can not find the diagram since and would like to start wiring boilers like this. would appreciate if some one can point me in the right direction

Just Send a feed to the pipe stat then to the pump, so pump has two feeds.Set the temp on the stat accordingly.

does the boiler have a pump overun connection ? most modern boilers do now so the pump is connected directly to your boiler rather than operating at the same time as the pump.
if not then you can install a timer relay. you will have to use a relay else you will end up back feeding.
frost stat conections between perm live and boiler sw live

What type of boiler is it, combi or system boiler etc and how is it wired? You could take a live from the hot water off function on the time clock, through the pipe stat and to the pump? Depends on the system though as you could find the pump is on and there is no where for the water to go so may have to operate a valve as well to dissipate the heat.

I take it you are on about a run on stat so say the flow temp is 65oC and the stat is set for 40oC then the pump runs until the temperature drops only question is why do you need it.
