Boiler Regs

Hello, are there any regs for boilers??
Can they be plugged in?? Would it have to be a DP socket?? Or is a fused spur best??

Manufacturers instructions usually ask for a switched fused connection unit with a 3A fuse.

Ok i havent seen it yet but apparently the boiler has turned up with a plug on it.

You might find that (particlarly if it's a Glo-worm boiler), the plug you refer to is the actual connection to the boiler itself where you connect your flex into from your spur.

Defo not a glo worm. I aint doing the job but they want advice. Basically they have a boiler and a little pump to power, they have asked if its ok just to plug them in or would you put them both on there own 3A fused spur?? Also is a fused spur DP??

change the fuse in the plugtops to 3A to comply with manufacturers instructions.
