Hi all
A customer has had a recent PIR at a commercial premises and some boiler room sockets have been flagged as a D1 for not having RCD protection. All are in the locked room which is only accessible to the caretaker. I don't see a problem with this and don't see why they need an RCD adding. Only one can be used for outside equipment, which is an RCD socket. The guy that did the PIR said it's because it's a boiler room but that's not a special location or anything. What are your thoughts?
