[ElectriciansForums.net] bonding for water

where would you put the bonding clamp for the water on here, the pipe comes through the wall, not much poking through before a bend, butted up to the bend is a tap and so on, everything is butted up to each other, the pipe branches out, one goes directly to a toilet only, then the other is a chrome pipe going along under the bath and into the wall running inside the wall, where do i nput the bonding clamp?

Is this the main water supply:confused:It should be bonded after the stop cock or 600mm from point of entry or where practical

yes this is the main water supply, but can i bond to a chrome pipe? there is no other place but the piece of pipe leading to the toilet

no pipe work within 600mm of entering the property?

yes but it is chrome until it gets upstairs

You shouldn't bond past any junctions in the pipe but as others have stated within 600mm of the stop-tap but in this case you cant meet the requirements so as Mac says do a bond on each of the 3 pipes leading off from the pic you supplied and make sure you dont break the earth at any point.
