Evening..

Is it always necessary to bond the steel wired on SWA? Cause say for example from a metal DB to a metal clad socket or isolator, as the metal DB is earthed and the SWA is glanded up to the board then the steel outer will be earthed... right??

Should the armour of an SWA carrying twin and earth cables also be earthed (with banjos etc)
I assume said contractor is part of a Part P scheme (NICEIC, Napit, few others..) in which case complain to them. They'll investigate (in theory)...
