Bypass means to go round and 3 phase bore hole is just that, a 3 phase bore hole :26:

I take it, you have leakage problems with the bore pump, taking out the RCD device?? Your not interested in correcting the problem then, just over coming the problem!!! Remember, ....in all probability, it will only be a temporary solution!!! ....And bore pumps can be very expensive to replace, i know i have one for garden irrigation's in Cyprus...

Personally ....i'd lift the pump assembly up and inspect. it could well be the motor supply cable chaffing on the bore well PVC liner, if the pipe is not of the ridged steel type!!! Happens as the motor kicks/twists every time the motor starts...

I agree you wouldn't be doing the customer any favours if you workaround the fault without establishing the cause first.

depends how deep the borehole is. if it's deep enough, you may come under australian regulations.
