Born in the wrong decade

I wish i had of been a teenager through the 80's. I love all the rock music like Guns n Roses, Poison, AC/DC, Motley Crue etc. Most of todays music is terrible! for instance how could Gangnam Style ever of made it to number one? Another thing is it was probably the last decade to create a decent generation of people who care about other people and their work! I was brought up to do everything i do as best i can do especially if someone is paying you to do it, i just keep finding more and more bad work these days. The education system is ruined too, it is really annoying seeing all these people fresh out of school and college who don't even have any basic english, maths or science skills. Does anyone else have similar views? maybe i am just old before my time, i am only 25 and rather than going out clubbing with others my age i prefer to get an early night, do a good days work, spend my time on here trying to learn and talk to like minded people.

Try saxon,motorhead,black sabbath,meat loaf,if you want something a little lighter try elo or rush was proper into heavy metal back then.wheels of steel by saxon is good,or new york groove by ace frehley of kiss.nyg isnt heavy but a good track,also dont fear the reaper by blue oyster cult.

Motorhead are awesome too! i haven't heard of Saxon i must admit, i will YouTube them shortly. I cannot stand Metallica though!

I'm glad I was born when I was - Love my era in other ways.

But as a guitarist (amateur at best) - I would have loved to have been a teen when the mods and rockers were setting the trend we've all followed since.

I wish we could erase the Justin Beiber "swag" era. Radio 1. And also perhaps some of the chavs era.

We can but wish though! We've got what we've got! ha
