used makita for the last few years and have never had a problem, but recently used some bosch and found them really good. but now im in a dilemma im looking at buying some new tools and cant decide which to buy now?

Would not even look at anything other than makita for 18v , but for the 36v work horse drills it has got to be bosch .
Would have used to say hilti but they have proper gone micky over the last few years .

As you've already got Makita I'd say stick with them so you can interchange the batteries.

The Makita radio is the mutts nuts too.

I'm very pleased with my Makita kit - especially the 18V SDS plus drill.

just got a short body makita 18v sds drill as a replacement for my now dead bosch 24v one and I am landed, its bloody awesome.

I wouldn't touch neither there is only one winner in my eyes and that is Hilti they are so much stronger than anything else I've used, you get a rep you can call anyway and break it and in the first year you get a new one!

Milwaukee,
the rest are like fisher price in comparison.
but, if you want to play at being a workman you takes your choice.
