British Electrician working in Afghan looking at the next conquest

Hello there , currently working in Afghanistan but works coming to a halt , times been out for 2 years now . Thinking of my next conquest I like the sound of Canada . Can anybody point me in the right direction . would I be able to secure work with a british licence . would I need sponsored ect ? any help would be much appreciated .
