Although obviously bad news for 99% of people, this may be helpful for the solar industry as people might consider how to deal with rising energy bills:

It somehow doesn't feel right. It comes across as gloating when many people are struggling with fuel poverty. That's why I posted in here.

The table at the bottom of the article showing how the energy companies have hiked prices in the last 18 months is useful though.

naa - its an all electric future, the sooner people latch on the better - the pain in the arse for us is G83 otherwise like Europe we could be banging in 10kwp (were it permits) and really making good use of the generation, then have electric heating, electric showers etc etc.

It just stinks, we get bummed left right and centre in this country - if i tried to hike my prices up to my regular customers by 10% i'd get told to "jog on" BG are on course to "Grow their profits by 10%" jesus wish i was.
