British Standards for Free BS5839-1 and BS5839-6 - Get British Standards Online Free of Charge!

British Standards are expensive, but there's a way you can use your library to access them free of charge. And you are allowed to take notes. You can't copy whole pages etc - that's breach of copyright. But you can take lots of notes.

Based on the list, I have joined the wonderful Newcastle City Council library, they've sent me a card and I've looked online at a British Standard without having to part with £many. Result !!!

We have a new way that this works on TilersForums.com - I'll go collect the information and send it on over here as soon as I have some time. But you can still get access to them for free from most local libraries. You're just not allowed to take them home, or take screen shots. But you can read them, and make notes about the bits you need etc.
