I've got my copy of the bs7671:2008 and have had a quick look through it and come to the conclussion it would have been much easier to understand had it been written in english:p
Does anyone have any handy tips on making this book of riddles any easier to navigate?

I hope you havn't 'Just' bought it?? There's an updated one (green) coming out soon.

Oh and do your 17th Edition course to help your way through the book.

Thanks Alan, no I didn't buy it it was provided by my training provider so hopefully the new one will be too. I'll be doing the 17th edition course but was just hoping to have diciphered at least some of it and finding my way round it in time. I think my next module will involve reffering to it at points so maybe that will help me find my way round it. It probably looks more daunting than it is. I think i'll buy a shed load of bookmarks!!

Im afraid it is MORE daunting than it looks.

The best way to get used to it is keep using it and dare i say, reading it.

Once you get to know the various sections it will start to become easier.

Dont forget, its telling what you should try and achieve, not what you need to do to achieve it.

Good luck :D
