Since the Schedule of Inspections hasn't completely changed name, and is still the same for "new work" would an addition or alteration, requiring only a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate, come under the new work parameters, or would the Condition Report Inspection Schedule for Domestic and Similare Premises with up to 100A Supply need to be used?

Sorry for the somewhat muddled question. The update has changed the standard Schedule of Inspections, to both the:
schedule of inspections (new installation work) & condition report inspection schedule for domestic and similar premises with up to 100 A supply
.
I was wondering if an addition or alteration to an existing circuit, therefore only needing a minor works certificate would come under "new installation work" but i assume it would wouldn't it? And the extended nam e version above would only be used with the new PIR.

If you are doing minor electrical installation work you issue a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate

If you are doing electrical installation work that involves provision of a new circuit then you issue an Electrical Installation Works Certificate together with the generic schedule of test results and the schedule of inspections for new installation work.

If you are doing an electrical installation condition report you issue an Electrical Installation Condition Report together with the generic schedule of test results and the condition report inspection schedule.
