Hi second question of the evening. A master bt point wires to AB want to replace for a master in chrome do the wires go to 2 & 5.

If your master socket has any extensions connected to it then replacing the BT NTE5 may cause some problems if your line develops a fault as the NTE5 acts as the external line test point

Yep master 2 and5, slave 2 5 and (3 ring wire)

Only if you want to reduce your broadband speed due to the interference it causes and if you have a faceplate type ADSL / vDSL filter then most of these disconnect the ring wire
