Buhler 24v Motor

Bit of a long shot.
I have very sketchy info on this motor and after a direct replacement.

24v DC
Removed from a mira powerail (dicontinued older than the ark)
It has the number 110 8 212 J stamped on it.

Does anyone know of a good source of likely spares (i have already checked buhlers website)

I would think this is a motor that was manufactured specifically for the application, it doesn't look like one that you'll find a generic replacement for. Looking at the shaft and the front housing cap I assume it's a pump motor and the shaft seal leaked. Before you spend too long tracking down a replacement can you get new seals for the wet end of the pump?

Yhea figured this was a long shot (already given the lady a quote for new shower)

Found a fairly good match from buhler http://www.buehlermotor.de/C12572D4...4AHF5391WEBREN/$File/DC-motor-1_13_044_en.pdf apart from the shaft was different, but as you say everything is more than likely knackered on this unit its had a good run of 20 years.

Motor was crammed with carbon dust and brushes are almost gone.
Did offer someone £10 on gumtree for a second-hand one lol.

Hopefully she agrees to have the new shower.

EDIT:

Just read the bottom of that data sheet seems they modify the shaft on request, guessing this motor would be mega bucks though!
