Hi All

napit did not require building controle notification before i registerd with them can any one tell me if niceic require building controle notification or will i just get a minor on asesment

Richard

Have you asked them?

I know 2 years ago when a friend got NICEIC registered, they insisted on him contacting the LABC to registered the work. The LABC told him though that they were happy for him to do the work and then sign it off once he had his assement, as long as the work was completed and signed off within 30 day, and the NICEIC was happy with that.

Hi malcom
thank you i am just in the prossese of rejoining part p after a break of a year looks like we have all got to get used to it as its not going to go away !!

Officially they will tell you that notifiable work must be done thru BC, but the inspector will not ask or will not force the point on assessment day.

Foolish man :D
It seems you were drowning in the woes of the failures of part p,only to then have the courage to extract yourself from it, and once safely away, go and get yourself up to the elbows in it again :)
