hello, little unsure on something and dont have building regs to hand.
when doing a rewire of a property do you have to install a kithen fan if there is an openable window and a cooker hood (unvented)?
also bathroom fans when an openable window is present?
im just making sure as i know with newbuilds this is a requirement but im subcontracting to a property management firm and have bin pulled up on not installing them on the last job as they think this is a requirement.
i remember reading that smokes are required in refurbished houses but im unsure about the fans thanks in advance
