Need ing to install 3 bulkheads with photocells and was looking at this one XXXXX

Has anyone ever fitted one of these. Just read the review it has and slates the performance of the photocell, so don't want to go to the trouble of installing then having to go back and change etc.

Its made by ASD which are usually good products.

Thanks for any comments:cool:

I usually fit regular bulkheads and buy a 20mm photocell from eddy's, normally the price is around ÂŁ12 for the photocell but a bit of sucking air through the teeth you can get it for around ÂŁ9.

dont make me laugh about asd i used to work for cef long time ago but we used to stock these fittings and had nothing but trouble not only with those types but most of there units return for faulty or still under guarentee n knackered

i would use separate photocells, the mushroom ones, about ÂŁ10-ÂŁ12 from any wholesaler, each can feed 2 or more bulkheads. if the photocell goes down, it's just a 2 min. plug-in replace.

My guess is an earth to N fault in the damaged light fitting. This will become a problem when other devices draw large currents.
