Am I the only 35yo trainee who had never heard of or used a bush spanner before?

I was struggling with my conduit when a colleague showed me his bush spanner lol, couldnt do without em now.

I don't know any 35yo trainees so I can't comment

But how about a locknut spanner then to go with your bush spanner:)

What a good idea them Kew Technik ones are how cool, Mostly I have used em on new installations prior to wiring but i understand the Kew Technik concept..very good.

There is or was a guy on Feebay who made his own bush spanners and lock nut spanners. (also done a conduit bending guide/manual)
i bought both of these, the bush spanner is very good and imo better than most of them out there.
The lock nut spanner was ok but seemed alot of faffing around when a pair of 180mm Knipex cobra grips will do.
I bought the 180mm thinking i would only use them occasionaly, but i use them far more than the 250mm

It was the first tool I ever bought..and the one that I almost never use
On my first day years ago the master was doing steel conduit and using a bush spanner so I thought it would be the first tool i would buy and then expand from there

Do you mean one of these?

The tapered end is also quite handy for knocking out knockouts.

As the inventor of the Bushking, 31 years ago, I wish to offer my advice to all these questions relevant to the problems arising with different types of products. There has been rumours in some quarters that our products do not fit. I can categorically state that the Bushking is made in Britain and to British standards and as always fitted the same. There are reasons why Electricians are facing confusion over these matters and none of them is the fault of our products. If any dis-satisfied tradesman would like to contact us then we can address their concerns. One only has to see the list of satisfied customers at our Ebay shop coupled with nearly 400,000 over the years, can't possibly be wrong. Equally so, we are very concerned about the concerns that tradesmen have and we would like to help to resolve. Mr P.E.Kilroy

However if you google bushking crown then that should help you find our site and ebay shop
