Hello Everybody,

Please help me find some decent business cards. All the sites i've seen are poor designs.
Any ideas...?

Thanks

Adam

Try a local company most town's have a few. It cost me ÂŁ30 for a design and another ÂŁ50 for the cards. the one I used sent me a few samples I chose different things from each sample and he made another before I paid anything. far better than the on-line company's but may be slightly more expensive.

I could do you a design (for a couple of quid, if that sort of thing is allowed on this forum) which you could get done at prompt print or somewhere like that for cheap cheap cheap.

What kind of thing were you wanting?

ex boss uses print.com not sure what they charge but they are the best quality cards I have seen and they do everything from flyers through to pens rulers etc.

Designing and printing your own business card has become possible ever since the invention of the modern computer and the desktop printer. Today, you will be able to come up with your own designs using software that offers publishing capabilities that can range from card design and layout to small-scale printing using an ordinary inkjet or laser jet printer. Designs can be created from scratch or from hundreds of free templates included with most desktop publishing software, the most popular of which is Microsoft Publisher.
Microsoft Publisher is a desktop publishing solution that enables user to publish different kinds of print media from newsletters, banners, greeting cards, etc. They also offer a lot of templates for all sorts of business letters, layouts and even marketing material like the business card. You could choose from hundreds of pre-made or pre-installed templates included with the software and just customize the details and information to suit your business and your tastes. Alternatively, you could also start with a blank template that you can fill up depending on your design skills.

Visit the vista print web site.

I'd say use Vista print too.

Bonus is that you can do all the design online and get a PDF version of the design emailed to you before you order - yes you get charged for the PDF but you get a chance to see how it looks, before you order 100's

and with vista print, if you are prepared to wait 3 weeks for delivery, they are virtually free ( 500). i paid a bit extra for a choice of design, the free designs were crap.

With my last order with Vista I opted for "standard" (slow) delivery and they arrived in a mere 4 days - I guess they weren't very busy.

Had my local printers design and print mine.

By the time i'd messed about online finding something i was happy with, the printers had done a few different designs for me and printed them. Plus when i need some more, its just a phone call and a days wait at most
