Trying to get work from local schools and have just paid for a listing in the school supplies service directory. Anyone got advice for other methods of getting contracts from schools?

Schools more often than not have a framework agreement with the Local Authority for contractor selection involving a detailed pre-qualification process before they trust their business to a contractor.
 
Thought I'd post an update for those interested: Posted above message in september when I signed up with school supplies service and got no business at all ... that was until two weeks ago when I got a call from local school. Relieved to say it was worth while after all.
