C&G 2330 Level 3- Daytime Course Only arghhhhhhhh

D

Damon

Hi Guys,

Now I have been pretty fortunate since i left fulltime college in July and have had regular work via agencys as a sparks mate and am now self employed CIS Subcontracting,
However now I am back at college and level 3 is just one day per week but almost everyjob I apply for is a Mon to Fri fulltime job (Days)....

As soon as I tell em I need One day off to attend college they dont wanna know...
If to do the Level 3 course the college insists you must be employed then surely the college should run this course on an evening poss one or two nights per week....which I have mentioned but college said they wouldnt get tutors just to do night time courses...

I feel so sick....I want my qualifications but no one appears to be willing to give you a chance and take one day off to become a JIB Electrician....If i give up now I will only ever be a sparks mate and always be paid £5 per hour less for doing the same job arghhhhhhhhhhhh.

Anyone else have this problem?

ICE. Do a search on the forums search engine for 2356 and you will receive all the help you need.... about half way down the list, you'll see what I mean. Good luck in your course.

Top right hand corner of any page on the forum is its search engine to find old posts. One that I came across by Damon is..... (no longer active, deleted)
