Hi I am currently doing the level 2 City and Guilds 2365 distance learning and looking to upgrade to Level 3, I can see there are a number of different Level 3 courses available. I wonder if anyone could tell me what the difference between the Level 3 2365 and 2357 are? Also do I need a portfolio of work for both? Thanks?

If im not mistaken 2365 is level 2 & 3 within the college environment, mainly theory learning with bit of workshop.
2357 is the NVQ3 which you will do after those building up a portfolio whilst working within the industry as well as sitting the AM2 test to be certified by JIB and get the "gold card" as its known.

If im wrong/mistaken im sure someone on here will correct me.
regards,
ven

What work are you able to carry out or what jobs can you apply for once the 2365 qualifications are completed to build a portfolio? Assuming you have the 18th edition also?

Thanks,
Oz
