i brought myself the a ck dextro 0.6 x 3.5mm flat head screw driver about 4 months ago as i lost my old driver and needed a replacement a.s.a.p Anyway i was working in a P.D.U (Power distribution unit) yesterday connecting a single phase s.w.a in and i was using this driver to tighten the terminals up. Doing so i slipped and sheered half the head off the screw driver which annoyed me slightly

Im wondering though... are the C.K tools covered by warranty for any period of time? and if so would i be able to take the driver back to where i got it from (my local c.e.f) and get it replaced/sent off for nothing?

Cheers

Matt

....depends on the CEF manager I'd have thought. If it broke easily then I'd say it wasn't fit for purpose and they should replace it. Debatable point though.

ah right, i should be ok then as i get on quite well with most the sales blokes and managers at the cef i bought it from...

i just need time to get down there now as i'm not working local at the min so cant get there =(

If you go to the main website Carl Kammerling International there's a trade section where you can download their Terms & Conditions. It suggests that there's a variable warranty on each type of tool but certainly a guarantee of quality involving replacement.
