After getting a phone call just now, I'm a tad confused as to what this chap is saying !

Q, He has a dis board with buz bar connecting his breakers. He also tells me that his last two breakers (10 amp & 16 amp) are fed from 2.5 singles from a breaker that is connected with buz bar.

Is this within regs ?

No it isnt. This sounds like 2 breakers have been added to the spare ways but the busbar has been cut short. The busbar needs replacing with one that will connect all the breakers, or alternatively you can get suitable copper links to join the breakers to the existing busbar. If the bubar is a common make like Wylex or MK getting a new one will be easy. I know screwfix do busbars but you may have to file it to make it fit. But 2.5mm is a definite non no on the supply side of the breaker unless the PFC is below about 20a which i doubt.
